Dr. Herbert and her team address whole body symptoms and understand the interconnectedness of the human body. They understand that all systems are part of the whole and affect each other.  Dr. Herbert is not driven by pharmaceutical companies. She is driven by the welfare of her patients and puts all of her efforts into making them well and will use a variety of methods and tools to reach that goal. Dr. Herbert and her staff do not have biased views on treatment methods. They use what they find works best, whether it be a conventional or unconventional method. There is a remarkable difference between a visit to Dr. Herbert and any other doctor. First of all the thoroughness: she began with a number of tests and work-ups whose importance she and her staff and colleagues helped me understand.  Second, they were firm with me about the importance of avoiding dairy, which I resisted but now see how much better I can feel….  I now need an hour less sleep each day in spite of considerable stresses.  I am confident there will be further improvements.   -NG

Having read The Autism Revolution: Whole Body Strategies for Making Life All It Can Be, and coming across references to Dr. Herbert’s work in so many places, I was very happy and hopeful once I made the initial appointment.  At that time we’d already been working on our young son with little success.  The individualized approach to determining the different ways to improve my son’s health has produced results.  Besides running targeted tests and giving medical advice, they guided us to a dietary intervention and to creating a thriving home environment.  Our son is at a much better place now.   -KR
